Remember the hot Vitacost deal I posted about several days ago? I hope some of you had a chance to get an order in, as that deal was gone in about a day or so. Well, I wanted to let you know that I got my order in yesterday and I am really happy with it! I got my entire order for $0.69 Shipped, sweet! My favorite purchase was a pound of Organic Cinnamon (yes, a POUND!) for $4.74. I used to go to a natural foods store and buy it for around $1.00 an ounce, which I thought was a great price for organic versus buying a small bar at the gorcery store, so imagine my surprise when I stumbled onto this deal! Free Recycling Event in Joplin: Drop off Tires, Electronics, etc. Friday and Saturday

In observance of Earth Day, Joplin Residents can drop off the following items at The Joplin Recycling Center at 1310 W. A. St. for disposal on Friday and Saturday 4/20-4/21/12 from 9:00am to 3:00pm each day:

  • Tires (10 per household)
  • TV Sets and Monitors (10 per household)
  • Various Electronic, Computer, Stereo Equipment Items (Photocopiers, telephones cords and wires excluded)
  • Appliances (Refrigerators, Freezers, Air Conditioners, etc.)
