Sam’s Club letting anyone shop at Sam’s Club in Joplin, Missouri right now whether you have a membership or not, no card needed and no upcharge either! A reader emailed to let me know and I called them to confirm this and they said that yes, that this will be “Ongoing until further notice”. Price Cutter is is partnering with American Red Cross Greater Ozarks Chapter to accept donations for relief in Joplin through the end of June. From their blog:
“Customers who wish to participate may have $1, $3 or $5 added to their total at checkout. All 48 Pyramid Foods’ stores under the banners of Price Cutter, Bistro Market by Price Cutter, Food Pyramid, Ramey, Smitty’s, Country Mart, Save-A-Lot and Ponca City Discount Foods will be participating in this program.
The money raised from this program will be given to American Red Cross Greater Ozarks Chapter, specifically designated relief in Joplin. This fund provides immediate relief to the victims of the tornado through various supplies, food, water and other support to help those in need.
