I finally made it back to Food 4 Less. Every time I go back, I find some sort of deal there that makes me wish I went there more often. But how many stores can a gal go to every week anyway!? 😉

  • 2 Bananas $.38 (I know, I know, who buys just 2 bananas)
  • Pork Country Style Ribs $.88 lb. (over 7 lbs, so $6.69) I came to Food 4 Less for these ribs. I throw them in the crock pot and a few hours later, presto!
  • 4 Oscar Mayer Chicken Breast Deli Meats, Marked down to $1.28 ea, Used 2 $1.00/2 Qs (boy, I wish I had more room so I could have gotten more of these, but my frig & freezer are just bulging with all the great deals I’ve gotten in the past couple weeks!
  • Final Cost $10.77

While there were some great deals at Wagreens this week, both of my locations were pretty wiped out. I still managed to find some good deals though!

This was one of those flawed transactions that was totally my fault, but it actually turned out in my favor.

When I got to the car, I checked my receipt and realized I had forgotten to give the cashier the Walgreens coupon for the Scotch Mailers, so I was charged $1.50 for each one instead of $.33. So, I went back in, not sure how a refund would take place because of all the Register Rewards I had used. But, to my surprise the manager refunded me $7.56 for the mailers, no questions asked. What a relief!

I hadn’t been to Price Cutter in quite a while. I stopped going to the one closest to me, I just had too many issues at that location (pricing problems, etc). I was by my farther away location today, so I stopped by. I’m glad I did, they had several good deals this week and as always I have zero problems at that store (man, I wish that one was by me, I’d go a lot more often). Anyway, here’s my deals today:

I kind of had Walgreens burnout this week, so I didn’t make it there much this week. I did a transaction earlier in the week to take advantage of Marie Claire’s free offer HERE, but I already mailed off the receipt and forgot to take a picture, so I’ll just skip that one.

On another note, Walgreens seems to have a bunch of stuff on clearance right now, today I noticed they clearanced a bunch of Physicians Formula cosmetics, nice! Anyway, keep an eye out for clearance items, they make great filler items when you’re using Register Rewards. Christmas is fast approaching, think Stocking Stuffers!

Wow, it was pandemonium on the soup aisle today, people were going nuts over the soup sale! It’s gotten a little chilly here in the Ozarks and I guess people are really wanting their soups! lol

  • 12 Cans Campbell’s Chunky Soup Healthy Request $1.00 ea (Used 6 $.40/2 Qs which doubled)
  • 2 Turkey Hill Tea Half Gallons $1.67 ea, Used $1.00/2 Q (ok, I normally wait for these to go on sale, but I just couldn’t stand it anymore, I just HAD to have my tea) 😉

  • Steak Mushrooms, marked down to $1.59 (another favorite of mine!)
  • Green Cabbage $.49 lb. total $.92 (ok, not a favorite, but very healthy)
  • Lays BBQ Chips $3.19, Used Dillons FREE Coupon
  • Milk 2% Half Gallon $1.33
  • Final Cost $20.13, I was very happy with my total considering all the great food I got.
