Closed! He is We “My Forever” Album Review & Giveaway

He is We recently released a new album “My Forever.” If you’re not familiar with He is We, a little background for you: He Is We’s Rachel Taylor and Trevor Kelly met while working at Ted Brown Music in Tacoma, Washington. They eventually collaborated with each other and the duo’s quirky songwriting began to get attention when they posted their songs online. At first tracks got five or six plays a day, later it grew into thousands. Their debut album “My Forever” is an eclectic collection of acoustic songs that shine with enthusiasm and passion. “Making the album turned our little demos into exactly what we were hoping for,” Rachel says. “It made our little babies grow up into beautiful young songs.” My thoughts: If you like indie pop, then you’ll love this upbeat album. I gave their album a listen & thought their songs were fun & catchy, with true-to-the-heart lyrics, and I loved Rachel’s beautiful voice. I especially liked And Run & Happily Ever After.

Check out “And Run” below, you can also listen to samples of each song on Amazon or iTunes. You can also find them on Facebook for the latest on tour dates & other tidbits.

And now for the Fun part! One lucky winner will receive a He is We “My Forever” Cd of their own! (Note: this giveaway is open to U.S. residents only).

Closed! Silk for Milk 10-Day Challenge, $1.25/1 Coupon & Giveaway!

I’d like to remind everyone about Silk’s 10-Day Silk-for-Milk Challenge. I like that they offer a variety of different ways to swap Silk for milk including diet friendly desserts, swaps for busy families, a yummy pina colada & more! Silk has no cholesterol, no saturated fat and they offer 13 delicious varieties under 100 calories. My personal favorite is Silk PureAlmond Dark Chocolate, it is so delightfully good, I just love it warmed up. I recently had a chance to try Silk’s PureCoconut and I was very impressed with the taste. I have to say, I’ve never been much of a milk drinker and I easily prefer the taste of the PureCoconut over milk. To me, it has a lighter taste, it didn’t have any after-taste & it was very refreshing. I thought the hard-sell in our household would be my dh. He is a die-hard milk drinker, seriously, I have never known any adult that drinks more milk than him. I asked him to try out the PureCoconut & while he grumbled about how it wasn’t the same as milk, he drank the entire carton so fast that I was barely able get even half a glass to try it out for myself. So, I’d say this one is a winner! Lol

Want a coupon? Head on over HERE and you can print a coupon for $0.75 off Silk, OR register as a new user & agree to answer a quick survey & bump up your coupon to $1.25! Don’t forget to “Like” Silk on Facebook so you don’t miss out on any future special offers. And if you’re into Twitter, you can follow them HERE.

And now for the Fun part! One lucky winner will receive a FREE Coupon for Silk Milk Products and a fun Silk Milk Chicobag (Note: this giveaway is open to U.S. residents only).
