I went to Dillons today in hopes of grabbing one of the Jennie-O Turkeys at $.39 lb., but as I expected, they were all gone. I talked to one of the guys in the meat department & he said all Dillons around the country were out of them. I meant to go on Wednesday, but I’ve been a bit under the weather this week, so my shopping has been very hit & miss this week. Anyway, here’s my deals from earlier this week:

I’ve gone to Target twice this week so far and both times they were out of everything I was looking for! Well, I am determined, so I”m heading out tomorrow morning bright & early (hopefully) to see if I have better luck then. Here’s what I did manage to find:

I went back to Target today and still wasn’t able to find hardly anything, but I just know I’ll have better luck next week. 😉 Plus, I had a cashier tell me that she couldn’t take Super Target Coupons because it was a regular Target store. Sighhhhhhhh. So, this is why it is great to carry around store’s coupon policies when they are available to print. I whipped out the Target Coupon policy which clearly states this is indeed acceptable and she then took the coupons. And of course, my Target was totally wiped out of the Leapfrog Alphabet Pals that were only $.49 after coupon and price match.  Oh well, there is always another deal.

My first trip to Walgreens this week was actually to my nearest Wags to try out the Almay Deal. At that store, the prices came up BOGO Half Off. I went to my other location, crossing my fingers that it was BOGO FREE. And indeed it was, what an awesome deal!

Today, I made a classic mistake I thought would be good to point out. It is so easy to do, I know good & well not to do this, yet I still make this blunder on occasion. I just take it as lesson learned and move on.

While you can get more than one RR in a single transaction, you can’t get 2 RRs for the same deal. If I had done this in a separate transaction, I would have gotten back a $2.00 RR)
