Whoo-weeee, this was some exciting shopping trip today at Target! 😉 Seriously, I just couldn’t find any deals today, but, hey, that’s just fine. You know what?! There will always be another deal! I thought I’d go ahead and post this to remind everybody that there are a batch of Target food coupons that expire tomorrow 12/12, if you haven’t printed them yet, you can print them HERE:

So, I was so proud of myself when I went to Target today. I actually remembered my Reusable Shopping Totes (Target will give you a 5 cent credit for each Reusable bag you use on your purchase) and I ended up only getting one item. Oh well, I’m ready for the next trip!

  • I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter $2.14, Used $.75/1 Target Q and $1.00/1 Mfg. Q, I also got a $.05 credit for the Reusable bag
  • Final Cost $.36 (boy, did I feel like a big spender!)

I was happy this trip to find the $.97 wipes in stock for only the second time in about a month. They had the shelves crammed full, so I grabbed several. I also was able to find a few of the Glade holiday tins (no holiday refills, but still a good deal)

Wow, the Walgreens I went to were really wiped out this week. No Bandaids, no Zooth toothbrushes, but they still had plenty of other good buys 😉

Boy, you should have seen the grin on my face when I found the Turkey Hill Tea marked down at Dillons earlier this week (I’m easy to please LOL). One of my favorite things about Dillons is they frequently mark their items down. To me, that’s smart! They keep their customers happy with great deals and get rid of merchandise they need to move. It’s a win-win situation!

  • 4 Turkey Hill Half Gallon Teas, Marked down to $.79 ea, Used 4 $.35/1 Qs (doubled)
  • Dillons Milk Gallon, Marked down to $2.45
  • 3 packs of Ground Chuckall around 1.5 lbs. @ $1.77 lb., so $2.53, $2.46, $2.58 ea, Used 3 $.50/1 Ground beef Qs which doubled (boy will I miss those coupons!)
  • 2 packs of Pork Cubed Steak $1.66 lb., so $1.32, $1.25 ea
  • Kroger Can of Whole Tomatoes 28 oz. $.99

I don’t shop at Food 4 Less very often and every time I go back I wonder why I don’t go there more often. They have a lot of unadvertised deals that really make it worthwhile to stop by and check it out. I was very happy with my buys on this trip.

  • Folger Country Roast Coffee 34.9 oz., Marked down to $5.98, Used $1.00/1 Q (is it just me or has coffee gone way up in price? It seems weird to me that $6.00 is a good deal for Folgers, so I’m glad I had the coupon to go with it lol)
  • Vegetable Platter with Dip, Marked down to $1.98 (great price for such a huge platter, customers were buying these by the case when I was there!)
  • Head Cabbage @ $.48 lb., so $.86

The extent of my Black Friday Shopping was Walgreens and a grocery store and that was it. I pulled into Target about 8:30am this morning and the entire parking lot was full and I mean every last spot was taken. I am SO not a crowd person, so I promptly pulled right back out of the parking lot. I went to 2 different Walgreens today and they were positively serene compared to that! LOL
