Freebies Tips
When signing up for freebies on the internet, there are a few things you should know.
To avoid tons of spam, get a free email like gmail, yahoo or hotmail just for your freebies and use that one only for freebie sign-ups.
Use Autofill programs to make filling out those free sample forms quick and easy. Personally, I use Google Chrome & it has a great auto-fill feature. I’ve also heard nothing but good things about the Google toolbar & it’s autofill feature. I previously used & recommended Roboform, but I’ve heard of people having issues with it, so I took it off my computer.
I would also recommend using one of the FREE voice message programs that are out there like K7.net. It assigns you a phone number and you can get voice mail there. I like it because you can check your messages online. That way, you don’t have to be hassled at home by solicitors. Click here for K7
Read the fine print before signing up for anything and remember, the samples from the smaller companies don’t always come through. Sometimes they get overwhelmed with requests and are inable to send out all their samples.
Don’t EVER give anyone your SSN for sign-ups. Also, personally, I don’t like the “Participation” offers where you have to sign up for stuff with your credit card in order to get rewards like gift cards and such. I have heard of success stories on this, but I remain wary. I may in the future try some of these offers out for myself as an experiment.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email, thanks!
