CVS in Joplin Now Open

CVS in Joplin Now Open

I am happy to report that the CVS in Joplin is now open as of September 28th, 2014. CVS celebrated their opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and fanfare along with a beautifully sung version of the Star Spangled Banner. And of course…

Joplin CVS

I had to be there! Any new business opening here in Joplin is cause for celebration. Yayyyyyyyyy!!! 🙂 Something we can always, always, ALWAYS use around here in Joplin are more shopping options. I emailed CVS numerous times begging them to come here, now if all the other stores I have emailed over the years would listen, that would super-duper. I’m talking to you Hy-Vee, Whole Foods, Staples and of course, Dillons. Where the heck are you Dillons? In the beginning, Dillons stated they would definitely coming back, but they no longer say that when I contact them. 🙁 I am hoping that will change in the near future.

Joplin CVS

Anyway, we’re talking about CVS here, I tend to get easily side-tracked. LOL I signed up for a CVS card a long time ago. The first thing I did when I walked into CVS was scan my card at the Coupon Center. It didn’t spit out anything exciting other than what coupons were already advertised this week. They also had a table set out at the front of the store with a fun bag of freebies including a CVS Shopping Bag, Beauty Samples, coupons and other fun goodies.

CVS Shopping

My very first CVS shopping trip adventure was short, but sweet. Today wasn’t really about shopping so much, I mostly wanted to soak in the fact that we have another shopping option here in Joplin. I took a picture of the Welcome Bag goodies I received as well. Fun! 🙂
