I went to WalMart last night to do a little price-matching. I ran into a few errors with your price comparison chart. The BIC Crystal 10ct pens are NOT on sale for .22, and Office Max did not have index cards for .01 but the 70pg 1-subject notebooks were for .01. So, I’m not sure what happened but I think some of the things on your chart are off. Otherwise, it’s super helpful!! 🙂 I appreciate all the work you go through to put this together for us. But you might double-check this one.
The Bic Cristal pens are $0.22 after the $1.50/2 Bic Stationery products coupon (it should have said “after coupon”, so sorry about the confusion there). This Back to School Comparison spreadsheet is compiled by bloggers around the country, so there are bound to be a few differences in some stores (like Office Depot, Walmart and OfficeMax). OfficeMax deals will vary by region (especially the under $1 deals). You might check my Office Max post first if you live in the SW MO area, as I check our local ad (you can see the current week: here). On all my individual Back to School Posts for each store, I check my local ads when available, so it’s good to take a look at those too, plus any available coupons are linked in each of those posts.
