My Walgreens was pretty wiped out, but they still had plenty of deals to be found. I never could snag the Jergens lotion ($5.99=$5.00RR) or the Huggies Wipes, but that’s ok. There’s always more deals! 😉

Trip #1 8/11
4 Sharpies Highlighters 4 packs $.99 (they had a TON on these displayed 3 different locations), used 4 $1.00 Qs
2 Reach 2-packs & Listerine $3.00 ea, used 2 $2.00/1 Q & 1 $1.00 Q, got back $6.00 RR
Ecotrin 45 count $1.99, used $2.25 Q
Walgreen small plates $1.00
Colgate Total Enamel $2.99, used $.75/1 Q, got back $3.00 RR

9 Ecotrin 45 ct. $1.99 ea (I’m not one for buying huge quantities, but they had a ton of these in stock, literally overflowing on both trips I made) Used 9 $2.00 Qs
3 Reach Ultra Clean Toothbrushes Medium Head NOTE: These were on clearance for $1.09 ea, they were not marked, I had to ask to scan it at the register. It’s only this particular kind that’s on clearance. The UPC code on it is: 381371091638. I used $3.00/3 Q and got back $6.00 in RR Sweet!

NOTE: While I was at Walgreens today, I noticed they had the new Fall Issue of their Diabetes & You magazine (free) located in the Pharmacy waiting area. These magazines have several coupons in them, so pick one up if you see them.

NOTE: Also, when I was a Walgreens, I got this printout “Between 8/14 and 9/4 if you purchase Single packs of Dentyne gum, you’ll get money back!”

Not too great a trip to Walmart this week, there were quite a few things I wasn’t able to hunt down today. Oh well, there’s always another deal!

Farmland Bacon $1.99 (ad matched with Price Cutter), used $1.00 Q
2 bags Birds Eye Steam Fresh Frozen Veggies $.89 (ad matched with Price Cutter)
Head of Lettuce $.98 (beat Aldi’s price at $1.09)
Celery $.99 (beat Aldi’s price at $1.19)
3 lb. Yellow Onions $1.48 (beat Aldi’s price this week at $1.69)
Final Cost $14.46

Ok, so I was just a bit Dillons obsessed this week. LOL I tend to shop there fairly often because for one, I love it so much and two, it’s close to my house. I do love easy! I’ll break down my deals transaction by transaction.

Trip #1 8/11
Skim 1/2% Milk Marked down to $2.18
Half Gallon Chocolate Milk, marked down to $2.19, Used Buy Gallon of White Milk, get a free 1/2 gallon of Chocolate Milk Q (ok, this time when I used the coupon, it only took $2.00 off, I had 1 other of these coupons and when I used it before, it took $3.75 off, so who knows? Either way, fantastic coupons! I know my guy really loved the chocolate milk, that’s not something I normally buy)
Clean & Clear Day Lotion, was $5.59, marked down to $2.79, used $2.00 Q (Sweet!)
Final Cost $3.28

Trip #2 8/13
3 packages of 1.9 lbs Honeysuckle 93/7 Lean Ground Turkey $1.75 ea (and as luck would have it, I received a quick survey from Honeysuckle because I had signed up for their newsletter awhile back and for completing it, I got a $2.00 Honeysuckle coupon, which I used here)
Kroger Frozen Veggie Mix 16 oz. $1.00, used $.35 Dillons Q I got in the mail
Kroger Frozen Shrimp 1 lb. 71/90 Cooked $3.99 (great price, couldn’t resist this splurge)
3 Think Snack Bars $1.00 ea, Used 3 $.50/1 Qs (doubled)
Green Bell Pepper $.59
2 Pam Professional High Heat Sprays, on Clearance $1.09 ea, used 2 $.35 Qs (doubled)
Final Cost $10.13
