We don’t do cable or satellite in our household and we needed one more DTV Converter Box for the big conversion coming up. I had been hunting high & low for the RCA model, because according to the reviews, this model works pretty good. Well, today was my lucky day! Here’s my deal:

I made a quick trip to Price Cutter, I had several errands today, so I made it a short trip! Here’s my deal:

Pork Steak @ $1.49lb, about 4 lbs $6.39, used $6.00 off Pork Q when buy Kingsford Charcoal & 1 participating item (I got the Vlasic pickles-YUM!)

Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs 16oz. $.99, used $1.00/1 Q (in the Kraft magazine)

2 Kraft Shredded Cheese 8oz. $1.59 ea, used 2 $1.00/1 Q

5 Ears of Bi-Color Corn $.10

Well, darnit, I shopped too soon earlier this week and missed out on the $5 off $25 Coupon that was Wednesday & Thursday only, but that’s ok, I still got a great deal, no complaints here! I waited to post this until today because I had a little goof on my receipt and I wanted to make sure I could get that fixed and I did today! I gave my cashier my stack of coupons and she missed one of the Walgreens coupons (easy to do with all the coupons I gave her). I went back today and they were happy to adjust my receipt so I got $1.57 back today! Anyway, here’s my deal:

Bic Utility Lighter plus bonus lighter on sale $2.99, used $1.00 Q, got back $1.00 RR

2 Carefree Pantiliners, on sale $.99 w/Walgreens Q, used 2 $1.00/1 Qs

3 packs of Paper Plates $.99 ea with Walgreens Q

3 100-pack Natural Cone Coffee Filters $.99 ea with Walgreens Q

4 Boxes of Bandaids $2/5, used 4 $1.00/1 Qs, got back $4.00 RR

Skintimate Shaving Cream $1.99, used $.75/1, got back $1.00 RR

Clairol Balsam Hair Color $4.99, used $2.00/1 Q, got back $2.00 RR

2 Off Clip-on Mosquito Repellent Kits, used BOGO Q and $2.00/1 Q, got back $3.00 RR

Used $18 total in RR from previous transactions (I had several filler items like the plates & filters, so I was able to use several RRs.

My Total came to $19.97 and I got a Total of $20.50 back in RRs. Not bad!

Boy, was my Walgreens wiped out today and it was really busy! So, I just grabbed a couple things and got the heck out of there! Here’s what I got:

Right Guard Professional Deodorant $5.99, used $2.00/1 Q

2-Dial Body Wash Trial Size $.99 ea, used 2 $1.00/1 Q’s

Total with Tax: $4.59

I also received a $5.00 RR for the Right Guard.

FINAL OOP: PROFIT of  $.41 and all the 3 items free!

No Coupons in Sunday’s Newspapers 5-24

Just a note that this Sunday’s newspapers won’t have coupons due to the holiday, so don’t go stocking up this week.

Actually, I’m glad to have the break to catch up on my coupon sorting. My old coupon binder is about to bite the dust, poor thing is stuffed so full so I’ll need to be getting a new one soon. I’ll post on how I put my binder together when I get to that point 🙂
