Target was my favorite shopping trip this week, there were lots of great deals to be found!

  • 3 Olay Body Washes $5.50 ea, Used $2.00/1 Q & 2 $1.00/1 Q, Got back $5.00 Target Gift Card and will submit for the $15.00 Olay Rebate HERE (If you haven’t done this great rebate yet, hurry, purchases need to be made by tomorrow 3/12)
  • 4 Old Spice Red Zone After Hours Body Wash Trial Size, On Clearance $.48 ea, Used 2 $3.00/2 Qs
  • 4 Crest Kids Toothpaste $1.49 ea, Used 3 $.75/1 Qs & 1 $.50/1 Q and Used 4 $1.00/1 Target Qs
  • Archer Farms Simply Balanced Bread 24 oz. $2.39, Used $1.00/1 Target Q
  • Market Pantry Gallon Skim Milk $2.44 (best price in town!)
  • 2 Kraft Cheese 8 oz. $2.19, Used $1.00/2 Q & 2 $1.00/1 Target Qs
  • 3 Johnson Buddies Soaps $.99 ea, Used 3 $1.00/1 Qs (If your local Target has Catalina machines, it has been reported that a $2.50/3 Target Q Catalina prints out wyb 3, my store doesn’t have them but free is still great!)
  • Final Cost $13.18, Got a $5.00 Target Gift Card and will submit for the $15.00 Olay Rebate, so this trip was a moneymaker Yay!!!

There wasn’t a whole lot at Walgreens that excited me too much this week. They were out of the Finest Natural Resveratrol (Free this week with Walgreens coupon), so I picked up a Raincheck.

  • 4 Glade Sense & Spray Kits $5.99 ea, Used 4 $4.00/1 Qs & $2.00/1 Walgreens Q (took off $2.00 4x)
  • Dutch Farm Large Eggs Dozen $.79 (Still the cheapest Eggs in town, thanks Walgreens!)
  • Geisha Canned Mushrooms $.50
  • Renpure Organics 1 Shampoo & 1 Conditioner $6.99 for both (Note: These are BOGO and at my store they had “Try Me Free” Cards on them, so 2 FREE bottles after Rebate, sweet!)
  • Used $8.00 in previous RRs
  • Final Cost $.26 and will get back $6.99 for the Renpure Rebate

3/13 Trip

I stopped in at Walgreens today at a different store to see if they had any the Finest Natural Resveratrol that was on sale, but it was a no-go there too. Oh well, I still got a few great deals!

  • 3 Reach Toothbrushes $3.00 ea, Used $5.00/3 Q (from magazine) and Used $5.01/3 Walgreens Q
  • 2 Excedrin Menstrual Express Gels 20 ct. $4.99 ea, Used 2 FREE Qs (expired today) and $2.00/1 Walgreens Q
  • Organix Shampoo $4.99 (Had a “Try Me Free” Hangtag Mail-in Rebate
  • Final Cost $2.13 and will get back $4.99 for the Organix

My favorite thing about Aldi is their great prices on produce and this week was no exception!

  • 2 Onions 3 lb. Bags $.69 ea
  • Carrots 2 lbs. $.59
  • Cabbage about 2 lbs. $.79
  • Pork Rinds $1.19
  • Mayonnaise 32 oz. $1.99 (I checked around, this was still the best deal on mayo this week even with the coupons I had for other brands)
  • Final Cost $6.23

  • 2 Aveeno Daily Moisturing Lotion 2.5 oz. 20% Off Sale, so $2.39 ea, Used 2 $2.00/1 Qs and Got back $3.00 RR
  • Revlon Matte Eye Shadow $3.00 Off Sale, Reg. $4.99, so $1.99, Used $2.00/1 Q (Cashier adjusted the Coupon down to $1.99)
  • 2 Ajax Cleansers $.50 ea
  • 2 Dutch Farm Large Dozen Eggs $.79 ea (Still the Cheapest Eggs in town, our household goes through a LOT of eggs, so I am loving this deal!)
  • Used $8.00 in Previous Register Rewards
  • Final Cost $.83 and Got back $6.00 in Register Rewards

Note: For those trying the Purex Deal (BOGO @ $5.99 this month at Walgreens, Use the BOGO Mfg. Q that expires 3/6 to Get 2 Free Purex). This deal did not work for me, it rang up $3.99 and $2.00, Not $5.99 and $0.00 which would make both free. This is a pretty iffy deal, totally YMMV on this one-I know some locations it HAS rung up at $5.99 and $0.00 and it has worked successfully for some, but some cashiers may refuse to take a BOGO Coupon on a BOGO deal.

Dillons is having their Cart Buster sale this week, so they had a quite a few good deals. Here’s what I picked up on my trip:

  • 6 Green Giant Steamers $1.28 ea, Used 5 $.50/1 Qs & 1 $.40/1 Q (doubled)
  • 6 Betty Crocker Potato Pouches $.79 ea, Used 6 $.40/1 Qs (doubled), and 1 $.40/1 E-Coupon
  • 2 Betty Crocker Cake Mixes $1.00 ea, Used 2 $.75/1 Qs (doubled to $1.00)
  • Dillons Milk Half Gallon 1/2%, Marked Down to $1.27
  • Final Cost $2.81

I was hoping to find more Joint Juice in stock at Walgreens, but both stores I went to were totally sold out (again). When I went the first store, I was very surprised to discover that they had a bunch of the Excedrin I was looking for in stock (the other store didn’t have any). So, I did 4 separate transactions and here was the end result:

  • 1 Excedrin Menstrual Complete Express Gel 20 ct. $2.50, Used $2.00/1 Q and Got back $2.00 RR (x4, did each transaction separately to get the Register Reward for each one)
  • Final Cost $2.16 and Got Back $8.00 in Register Rewards

On my second trip, I ended up with a mish-mash of items.

  • Brawny Paper Towels 8 pk. $6.49, Used $2.00/1 Q
  • 2 Olay Simply Ageless Foundations $15.99 ea (On sale for Buy One, Get One Half Off), Used $2.50/2 Q & BOGO Q (took $15.99 off)
  • Munchos Chips $2.00
  • 3 Walgreens Paper Plates 72 ct. $.99 ea (I can’t believe the high cost of Paper Plates, Walgreens is the only place I ever buy them)
  • 2 Walgreens Bleach 96 oz. $.99 ea (Again, I can’t believe the price of bleach. I always wait until they’re on sale at Walgreens and I stock up then)
  • 2 Orbit Gum $.99 ea (last minute filler)
  • 5 Seed packets $.20 ea
  • 3 Dutch Farm Large Eggs Dozen $.79 ea (Still the cheapest eggs in town, cheapest I saw anywhere else this week was $1.19 at Target)
  • 3 Musketeers 3/$2.00
  • Green Containers $9.99 (for a gift)
  • Used $32.00 in Previous RRs

Dillons was my favorite transaction this week. They just have SO many things I like about them. They have great markdowns, they are generally great about taking coupons and they have a really nice produce & meat department (and that’s just a few of the things I like about them). 😉

  • 9 Farmland Sausage Links 12 oz. $1.00 ea, Used Raincheck, Used $1.00/2 Q and Used 7 $.55/1 Qs (doubled to $1.00)
  • Lunchables Subs $1.00, Used 2 $.75/1 Qs (doubled to $1.00)

  • Roma Tomatoes $.99, total $.93
  • 2 Boulder Chips $1.67 ea, Used BOGO Q (I had never tired these before, wow are they good!)

Well, as usual, my Target was completely wiped out of most of the things I was looking for, but I still found a few great deals.

  • 2 Kraft Parmesan 8 oz. $3.25 (Apparently, this was supposed to be $3.60, but they still had last week’s price up, so they honored that price. I didn’t even realize it was last week’s price until it came up $3.60 at the register.) Used 2 $1.00/1 Qs & $1.00/2 Target Q
  • 3 Scotch Fur Fighters $3.99 (I finally found these on an endcap, they were not located with the rest of the lint remover products) Used 3 $4.00/1 Qs
  • Simply Balanced 100% Whole Wheat Bread $2.39, Used $1.00/1 Target Q
  • Market Pantry Skim Milk Gallon $2.34 (This is the best price on milk I’ve seen in my area, it even beat Aldi’s price!)
  • Final Cost $7.42
