Heads up! Amazon will be having an upcoming Lightning Deal on a new Kindle sometime today. They tweeted a message yesterday (see below), but they did not set a specific time, but here’s a list of possible times:

“Check back for a great deal” at 8 am PST (11 am EST)
“Check back for a great deal” at 10 am PST (1 pm EST) UPDATE: It looks like a good chance it will be at this time!
“Check back for a great deal” at 1 pm PST (4 pm EST)
“Check back for a great deal” at 3 pm PST (6 pm EST)
“Check back for a great deal” at 5 pm PST (8 pm EST)
“Check back for a great deal” at 9 pm PST (Midnight EST)

This will probably be a deal that sells out quickly, so your best bet will probably be to check back at Amazon’s Lightning Deals at each set time. I will also update when this deal does goes live. Since they’ve said it would be a deal on the “New Kindle”, I’m guessing the deal will either be on the new Kindle Fire HD or the Kindle Paperwhite. Stay Tuned!
