  • 3 packages of Ground Chuck @ $1.69 lb. Packages were $2.28, $2.28, $2.11, Used 3 $.50/1 Ground Beef Qs (doubled)
  • 5 Reeses King Sized Candy Bars $1.25 ea, 5th one free (so $1.00 ea), Used 4 $.55/1 Qs (my Dillons accepts expired Qs up to 14 days after the exp. date)-Now, I should have used 5, but I didn’t notice until after my transaction was over and paid for that I had dropped the other coupon on the floor. It was my last stop of the day and that’s what I get for rushing 😉
  • 8 Kroger Frozen Veggies 12 oz. $.88, Used $1.50/1 Dillons Q fro mailier (buy $7 in frozen dept. get $1.50 off)
  • Bananas $.39 lb., 2.68 lbs. $1.05
  • Dillons 2% Half Gallon Milk $1.50
  • Steak Mushrooms, Marked down to $1.59 (I just made 3 different dishes out of these today)
  • 3 canned Dole Pineapple $1.00, Used 3 $.50/1 Qs (doubled)
  • Final Cost $15.14

I’ve gone to Target twice this week so far and both times they were out of everything I was looking for! Well, I am determined, so I”m heading out tomorrow morning bright & early (hopefully) to see if I have better luck then. Here’s what I did manage to find:

  • 2 Ziploc Storage Freezer bags 13 ct. Gallon size $1.00, Used $1.00/2 Q
  • Neosporin Lip Care $3.34, Used $3.00/1 Q
  • GE CFL Light Bulb $2.39, Used $1.00/1 Mfg. Q & $2.00/1 Target Q
  • Clip on Dorm Lamp, was $9.99, on Clearance for $2.48
  • Final Cost $3.21 (Used Target gift card from a previous deal, so Zero OOP)

I went back to Target today and still wasn’t able to find hardly anything, but I just know I’ll have better luck next week. 😉 Plus, I had a cashier tell me that she couldn’t take Super Target Coupons because it was a regular Target store. Sighhhhhhhh. So, this is why it is great to carry around store’s coupon policies when they are available to print. I whipped out the Target Coupon policy which clearly states this is indeed acceptable and she then took the coupons. And of course, my Target was totally wiped out of the Leapfrog Alphabet Pals that were only $.49 after coupon and price match.  Oh well, there is always another deal.

UPDATE: Well, I was there right when the coupons reset and as soon as my page refreshed, it said all the high value coupons were gone, even the 25% ones! Well, the 30% coupon below is a good deal and no hunting required! LOL This week’s locations can be found over at Engineer a Debt Free Life HERE

Old Navy Weekly is still having their weekly coupon hunt on Thursdays, no helpful hints on their blog, so I’m not sure what the high value coupon will be. Last week the highest coupon was $65 off $100.

UPDATE: I got the Toys R Us ad in my local newspaper this morning and this is a “Doorbuster Deal” that doesn’t start until 3 pm. today (Friday 11/13).  Target will honer this ad match, but it needs to be in the same time frame as the Toys R Us ad 3pm-Midnight 11/13 & 7am-1pm 11/14.

Toys R Us will be having a special 2 day sale 11/13-11/14 and part of the sale includes the LeapFrog Alphabet Pal for only $10.49. Grab the ad at Toys R Us and head on over to Target. Target has a $10.00 printable coupon HERE (under 11/25). Pay for your LeapFrog Alphabet Pal at the register with your coupon, and then head over to customer service to do the ad match, be sure to take the whole Toys R Us ad with you. After ad match, your cost will be only $.49!
