Wow, it was pandemonium on the soup aisle today, people were going nuts over the soup sale! It’s gotten a little chilly here in the Ozarks and I guess people are really wanting their soups! lol
- 12 Cans Campbell’s Chunky Soup Healthy Request $1.00 ea (Used 6 $.40/2 Qs which doubled)
- 2 Turkey Hill Tea Half Gallons $1.67 ea, Used $1.00/2 Q (ok, I normally wait for these to go on sale, but I just couldn’t stand it anymore, I just HAD to have my tea) 😉
- Ground Chuck $1.77 lb. total $4.81
- 2 Red Bell Peppers $.50 ea (my very favorite vegetable!)
- Steak Mushrooms, marked down to $1.59 (another favorite of mine!)
- Green Cabbage $.49 lb. total $.92 (ok, not a favorite, but very healthy)
- Lays BBQ Chips $3.19, Used Dillons FREE Coupon
- Milk 2% Half Gallon $1.33
- Final Cost $20.13, I was very happy with my total considering all the great food I got.
I went to my Dillons in Lawrence and got some Ziplock bags. They have a sign next that says “buy 3 and get $2 off you next purchase”. I got some sandwich bags for 1.89 each and used .40/1 coupons(doubled).
Total 1.89*3=5.67
Coupons 3*.80=-2.40
Total 3.27 and got coupon for $2
I thought it was a good deal, you might find better.
I have been stocking up on soup too!
