I haven’t made it to Dillons much this week. I went twice this week and on my second trip, the only thing I bought that day was a head of Caulifower that had been marked down and I didn’t think that was exciting enough for a picture. 😉 Here’s what I got on my other trip:

  • Head of Cabbage $.55 lb, not quite 1 1/2 lbs. so $1.23 (this is so good in the crockpot, I like to make a meal out of it with sausage, celery, onions, potatoes & carrots)
  • Ground Chuck $1.99 lb., about 3 lbs. so $6.38
  • Tyson Chicken Thighs $.99 lb., about 2 1/2 lbs. so $2.64
  • 2 Bumblebee Premium Tuna Pouches $1.19 ea, Used 2 $1.00/1 Qs
  • Final Cost $11.10

I was pleasantly surprised at my Target today. I didn’t get a chance to go until today and I figured everything would’ve been totally wiped out, but that wasn’t the case. I even found a couple deals I totally didn’t expect, sweet!

6 Glade Scented Oil Tins $1.66 ea (I was really surprised these were still only $1.66, but this price was only for the “Clean Linen” scent, the others were priced much higher), Used 6 $1.50 Qs that were inside the tin. Note: these coupons are right on top when you open the lid.

Whew, I went to Walgreens numerous times this week. We have 2 stores in our area right now (we have another one opening in November-yay!) and I went to both locations several times this week, because there was a whole lot of great deals! Some of the deals are since over, but they were great while they lasted!

I hadn’t been to Aldi’s in awhile so I ran by to check out what deals they had. The price of staples like Milk and Eggs have gone up in general in this area, so I wanted to price Aldi’s. They had gone up too, but not as much as some other stores. It was swamped, so I didn’t hang around too long. 😉

My favorite store this week was Target, so I saved it for last. I usually have pretty good luck with coupons there, I know other people have had lots of issues with coupons. Fortunately, Target has added a coupon policy to their website, check it out HERE. I would recommend printing a copy & carrying it with you.
