It seems like I never have enough batteries around the house, especially AA batteries. I’m not a big fan of electric clocks, so I have a bunch of small battery operated clocks around the house & they all seem to run on AAs and they all seem to run out at the same time. I have tried a bunch of different cheapo off-brands and store-brands the last year and they never seem to last (seriously, I think I tried all of them LOL).
