Veteran’s Day, also known as Armistice Day, is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended Word War I. Now, every year it is a way to honor Veterans, not to mention all Active Military. I just want to say thanks to all who have served and all who are currently serving.
The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month…didn’t think anyone remembered where veterans day came from!
Cool, I did not know that, or had forgotten it.

You’re so great using WW to honor the military today. Wish I would have thought to do the same with mine instead of posting about stinkin’ mosquitos! lol Happy WW!
Thanks – those who have served or who are serving deserve nothing but on honor and respect for their contributions.
Thanks! Nice post.
How very appropriate! My dad is a Marine. Well, he hasn’t been active for many, many years – but he says, “Once a Marine, ALWAYS a Marine.”
Happy Vet’s Day!
Thanks to those who served and thanks for the national holiday!
