Hi Nicol, as of June 30th, some coupons have started removing the shorter 12 digit EAN/UPC barcode and are leaving the longer DataBar barcode. Most stores should have implemented the new system by now, if not, they should be able to manually enter the coupon. The new barcode is supposed to include more information like expiration dates and more product specifics, this should make things easier at the checkout in the long run. I’ll try to write up a post in the near future explaining this a little further.
