Revised: Walmart Updated Coupon Policy

Walmart recently revised their new updated coupon policy. You can check out their latest version HERE. The biggest revision they made was to be more clear on exactly what kind of catalinas they will accept:

“We DO NOT accept the following coupons: Checkout coupons-Dollars/cents off the entire basket purchase or Percentage off the entire basket purchase” (meaning catalinas like Walgreens Register Rewards will not be accepted.)

Although it’s sad to see this change, the revised coupon policy remains coupon-friendly and still allows overage which is great. Be sure to print a copy HERE and take it with you when you go shopping at Walmart.

Wish I had read the policy before I went to town! I’m thinking our Wal-Mart is a little confused over the revision…they refused the manufacturer’s coupons we got from Digiorno’s House party, stating they did not accept ‘FREE’ coupons any longer according to the new policy. Really aggravating since we only have WM and a Price Cutter here within a 30 mile radius, and Price Cutter didn’t have the pizzas I was supposed to be buying! :((

I went to Wal-Mart today & used a RR from Walgreens…worked just fine.

Jenn it is clearly against the Walmart Coupon policy to use RR at Walmart. Please do not do it again. Abuse of the coupon policy will only create more changes to the policy and make it harder for us to coupon. Couponing is a privilege not a right.
