Stamp Out Hunger! Tomorrow, Saturday May 11th, 2013, leave your non-perishable items by your mailbox for your local letter carrier to pick up and help Stamp Out Hunger! They deliver the food to a local food bank and other hunger relief organizations such as shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries. Campbell Soup Company has again teamed up with the National Association of Letter Carriers for this awesome yearly event. In it’s 21st year, the Stamp Out the Hunger Food Drive is the nation’s largest single-day food drive. Over 175,000 letter carriers pick up food in over 10,000 communities nationwide collect the food and have collected over 1 billion pounds of food since it started in 1993. Last year’s drive also marked the ninth consecutive year that people donated more than 70 million pounds of food to this drive.  It is such an easy way to help make a difference in your community.

Donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, bottled juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal and rice that do not require refrigeration. Please do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers. See more information here.
