October 7, 2010 by Fritzie

I wanted to give Price Cutter a quick shout-out for a job well done in resolving an issue. I ran in to my local Price Cutter a few days ago to grab a few things & noticed they had one type of TGI Friday Skillet Meals marked down to half price. I grabbed one with the intention of running home and making it for a quick, easy lunch. Normally I’m an obsessive date reader (ask anyone that knows me lol), but on this day I had neglected to check. Anyway, when I got home, as I was getting ready to prepare the meal, the date caught my eye, 5/28/10! I immediately called the store manager so they could pull any other of these old dates off the shelf and the manager offered me a refund or 2 meals with good dates to replace the one meal with the old date. So, I dashed back to Price Cutter (it was very close to me, so no biggie making a return trip) & happily accepted the 2 meals as a replacement and watched them remove the old dates off the shelf. Way to go Price Cutter for quickly solving a problem! And, my experience is a great example of why it is a good idea to ALWAYS read the dates on packages. I have caught bad dates at every single store I have shopped at in my area at one time or another, so it is very important to check those dates!
