I had a few Register Rewards that expired yesterday, so off to Walgreens I went! Thankfully, my coupon-friendly cashier was working and she doesn’t mind doing more than 1 transaction. I don’t do a whole lot at a time or anything, but it’s nice to be able to do 3 or 4 transactions at a time and not have to come back to the store later in the week. I did run into a snafu with one of my coupons, but it was a fixable issue.

Transaction #1

  • Sudafed OM Mist $4.99 (This was priced at $5.99, but it showed up on sale at the register for $4.99. Man, I love Walgreens, but there are 2 things I REALLY wish they had. One, a corporate coupon policy so there wasn’t this constant chaos of whatever each store decides. And two, a Self-Scanner like Target stores have. It would be so nice to be able to check prices without having to bother the cashiers all the time.) Used $4.00/1 Sudafed OM coupon from the 3/14 RP insert
  • Sudafed PE 18 ct. $4.99, Used $2.00/1 coupon from the 3/14 RP insert, Got back $5.00 RR for purchasing both Sudafed items
  • Schick Hydro Gel $2.99, Got back $3.00 RR
  • 2 Blue Diamond Almonds $3.49 for both
  • Used $10.00 in previous RRs
  • Final Cost $0.46 and got back $8.00 in Register Rewards

Transaction #2

  • Schick Hydro Gel $2.99, Got back $3.00 RR
  • Used $2.00 in RRs (expired that day)
  • Final Cost $1.07 and got back $3.00 in Register Rewards

Transaction #3

  • 2 Sudafed PE 18 ct.$4.99, Used $5.00/2 Zyrtec, Benadryl, Visine, Sudafed PE or Tylenol Sinus Product coupon from the 4/11 RP insert (NOTE: I was supposed to get back $5.00 RR for purchasing both Sudafed items, but it did not print. The manager gave me the form below to send in to get the Register Reward, so we’ll see how it goes. If anyone else needs one of these forms, let me know, I can post a printable one.) UPDATE: here.
  • 3 Dutch Farm Eggs Large Dozen $0.79 ea. (these are still the cheapest eggs in town, thanks Walgreens!)
  • Schick Hydro Gel $2.99, Got back $3.00 RR
  • Used $10.00 in previous RRs
  • Final Cost $0.34, Got back $3.00 in Register Rewards and should be getting another $5.00 one in the mail

Can you PLEASE post a printable form for the Catalina? I’ve been looking for one and I can’t find it. I would appreciate it. Thanks! Love your website!

Oh! That didn’t print out for me either… I am sure I got the right stuff. I was having a hard time with Walgreens that day (giving me the right price on refillable ink!) and decided to just leave it alone about the RR.

    Hi Jonita,

If you kept your receipt, I just posted a printable form above, you can print it out, include your receipt, fill out the information on the form and you should get your RR in the mail.

At what Walgreens do you find 79 cent eggs? I live in Republic, and ours are more expensive than Walmart. I have been to several Walgreens in Springfield, but have yet to find them for 79 cents. Thanks for all the tips and deals!

We had a new store in our area open in November 2009. That was one of their Grand Opening Specials and they have kept that great price. I talked to one of the managers there & they told me the eggs will remain $0.79 through this November. Yay! 🙂
