Have you heard of Heelys yet? They are a fun two-in-one shoe that’s fun for all ages. The original Heelys have wheels in the heels and you can transition from a walk to a roll with a simple shifting of your weight and they can also be transformed into street shoes by easily removing the heels. The Heelys X2 has two removable heels in each shoe, making it ideal for kids and beginners. And then there’s the Nano, the first ever inline footboard (designed exclusively for Heelys footwear). It combines the speed of a skateboard with the maneuverability of the Heelys to provide a whole new experience.

(my cool Heelys I got to try out, loved the design!)

(easy to follow step-by-step instructions included)

I remember a few months ago, I was driving down a residential street and a girl was gliding along in her Heelys and I remember thinking how much fun it looked like she was having & how fun they would be to try out. Well, as luck would have it, I was given a chance to try out my very own pair of Heelys recently & what fun they were! I got a pair of the original Heelys and I loved the fact that the actual shoes themselves were very comfortable, not to mention really cool looking. And of course, the aspect of having the wheels added to the shoes really adds to the fun factor! And, Heelys is throwing a Black Friday Sale! Between 11/25/11-11/28/11, Buy any pair of Heelys, get the second pair for $25. Or buy a Nano, and get a pair of shoes for $25, and get free ground shipping on all orders. You can follow Heelys on Facebook & Twitter to hear about upcoming promotions.

Want to learn more about how Heelys work? Then head on over to their Skate 101 page to get the scoop. There, it will show you not only the basics like how to install & remove the heels, but also how to perform some fun tricks (just be sure to follow safety guidelines first).

Note: I received a pair of Heelys to facilitate this review, as always, opinions are 100% my own.
