Several States this weekend are waiving their State Tax on Back to School Supplies. The states are: Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina Tennessee, & Virginia. Check out the whole list HERE. Each state is a bit different, so be sure to check it out for details & exclusions. Here’s the details for Missouri:

• Clothing – $100
• Computers – $3,500
• School supplies – $50

Sam’s Club announced HERE that they are having a open house 8/5-8/7/11 so you can shop their during those days without a membership and the usual 10% fee for non-members will be waived. This is good at Sam’s Clubs nationwide, I called mine here in Joplin to check and they are indeed having an open house, everyone is welcome! 🙂
