October 22, 2010 by Fritzie

Are you familiar with Red Gold Tomatoes? They are a family-owned business based in Indiana. The company has been around since the 1940’s and was focused on growing local in the Midwest, where true seasons impact the flavor of tomatoes. Their mission is, “To produce the freshest, best-tasting tomato products in the world.” Personally, I really like Red Gold products, their Tomato Juice is my favorite! 🙂 Another thing I like about Red Gold is that they offer coupons on a fairly regular basis. Right now, they have a coupon for $1.00 off four cans of Red Gold Tomatoes HERE. There’s also a $1.00/3 Red Gold Tomatoes coupon from the 9/26 Smart Source Insert.

  • Check out their Facebook page HERE (gotta love their mascot)

Now for the fun part! 1 lucky winner will receive a Red Gold Tomatoes Prize Pack Tin filled with all sorts of fun goodies including Cans of Red Gold tomatoes, cookbooks, magnets and more (U.S. residents only). October 17, 2010 by Fritzie

KT Tunstall has released a new cd Tiger Suit. KT’s previous hit songs include the Grammy-nominated “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree,” “Suddenly I See,” Other Side of the World” or “Hold On”. Tiger Suit was recorded in Berlin’s Hansa Studios, where several legendary albums, including David Bowie’s Heroes, U2’s Achtung Baby, and Iggy Pop’s Lust for Life, were made.
1. Uummannaq Song
2. Glamour Puss
3. Push That Knot Away
4. Difficulty Listen
5. Fade Like A Shadow
6. Lost
7. Golden Frames
8. Come On, Get In
9. (Still A) Weirdo
10. Madame Trudeaux
11. The Entertainer

You can listen to samples of each song on Amazon HERE. And you can check out KT Tunstall’s Facebook page HERE or follow her on Twitter HERE. And for information on tour dates, check out her website HERE. I liked the album and appreciated the diversity of all the different kinds of sounds she included on this cd, it was quite the mix with synthesizers, acoustic guitar, electronic beats, eastern strings & more. My personal favorite was “(Still A) Weirdo”. If you like quirky ballads, then be sure to give Tunstall’s new cd a try.

Note: I was contacted by One2One Network & was given a copy of the cd in order to do this review. As always, opinions are 100% my own.

Closed! Wanchai Ferry Prize Pack Giveaway

This post may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

May 28, 2010 by Fritzie

I got the opportunity to try Wanchai Ferry’s newest flavor, Beef & Broccoli. It comes with tender beef strips, broccoli florets, red peppers and water chestnuts, rice & sauce. It was really fast and easy to prepare and very tasty too. If you’re in the mood for Asian cuisine, but don’t want to eat out, then these frozen entrees are just the thing! My favorite thing about this dish is that it doesn’t include MSG, none of their entrees do. Look for the entrees in the freezer section of your local grocery store.

Be sure to try the two additional new flavors of Wanchai Ferry frozen entrees, Kung Pao Chicken and Szechuan Style Chicken, which will soon join five others including Orange Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, Spicy Garlic Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. Yum, I’ll definitely have to try the Spicy Garlic Chicken! They’ve got some interesting meal tips to go along with each of the entrees HERE. Also, be sure to take advantage of a high value $1.60 off any one Wanchai Ferry Frozen Entree coupon HERE.

Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs Challenge & Review

This post may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

May 10, 2010 by Fritzie

Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPacs Features :

  • Powers Away 24 Hour Stuck-On Food
  • Pre-treating Power
  • Fast Action
  • Rinse Aid Action
  • Grease Fighting Power

Review:
I was tasked with a challenge to make a Blueberry Cobbler, set the empty baking dish out for 24 hours and without rinsing, put it in the dishwasher with Cascade Complete. I have to tell you, I was very skeptical about this challenge. I definitely thought there was no way the white casserole dish I was provide with would completely come clean, especially after 24 hours and no rinsing. And I have to say, it was really hard for me to leave such a dirty dish out for that long. We are a family of immediate rinsers, as soon as we’re done eating, the dishes get rinsed right away. That’s been our habit for years, it works for us. Anyway, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that it came completely clean. As a matter of fact it was squeaky clean, as were all my other dishes in the dishwasher.

And you can sign up to get a Home Made Simple coupon booklet in the mail with over $30.00 in coupons including Cascade coupons HERE (lower left).

Note: P&G provided me with the Cascade Complete All-in-1 ActionPac Kit & information through MyBlogSpark. As always, my opinions are 100% my own.
