By Faith Not by sight book review

I had a chance to read Scott MacIntyre’s “By Faith Not By Sight: The Inspirational Story of a Blind Prodigy, a Life-Threatening Illness, and an Unexpected Gift” and it is exactly as the title states. It is a truly inspirational story about overcoming the odds to succeed and finding happiness in all aspects of life. If you are feeling down in the dumps, then be sure and give this positive story and read and I am sure by the end you will be feeling the same joy that Scott expresses throughout the book. Back in the day when I actually watched American Idol a few years back, Scott was one of my favorite contestants I have ever watched. His constant, upbeat attitude was truly a joy to behold. Not to mention the fact that he was an amazing piano player and a heck of a singer to boot.

A little bit about this book: “Scott MacIntyre is a piano prodigy, a nineteen-year-old college grad, a Marshall scholar, and a former American Idol finalist. I was given a chance to try out the Betty Crocker Small Size Pouches. I have always especially liked their cookie mixes, so I was more than happy to give these new, smaller pouches a try. I just loved how super quick and easy it was to whip up a batch of treats. I have personally cut out goodies such as these for now, but I did not mind preparing them for John, since it was so darn fast to make. And boy, he sure did like each one I prepared, everything was scarfed up in no time! LOL

I hand-washed a few items with Dreft and it was very gentle, while cleaning effectively as well (which is important, if it does not clean well, then what’s the point, right?!). It also left the items super soft and I thought the scent was nice and light.
