Dollar Tree Coupon Policy

So, I posted yesterday that Dollar Tree will be accepting coupons starting 8/26 and they have now posted their coupon policy online. I would go ahead and print this & take it with you when you go to the Dollar Tree so you can have it handy for reference or in case any issues should arise. Here’s their policy:

  • Only original and intact manufacturers’ coupons will be accepted. Retailer-specific coupons will not be accepted.
  • Coupons are void if copied, scanned, or if they have been altered in any way.
  • Only two (2) print-at-home Internet coupons may be redeemed per transaction.
  • We are unable to accept coupons for “Free” items with no purchase requirements or where the amount for the product is blank.
  • Coupons can only be used in stores and must be presented at time of purchase. Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash at a later time.
  • Coupons will not be accepted without the purchase of the item specified and are subject to the terms listed (e.g. expiration date, size, limitations, quantity, etc.).
  • Coupons cannot be redeemed for more than the purchase price of the item.
  • Only one (1) manufacturer’s coupon will be accepted per item.
  • Management has the right to refuse any coupon or otherwise limit quantities.

Nice! Dollar Tree just posted on their Facebook page that they will be accepting coupons starting 8/26/12:  “We have been testing several markets across the nation over the past year and we are happy to say we now have the ability to accept manufacturer coupons! This will begin in most stores on August 26th!” They haven’t posted an official coupon policy yet, but I called the store here in Joplin and they confirmed that they would be accepting coupons, yay!  With everything being a dollar, there should be some nice deals coming up with coupons. Stay tuned for more details!
