i shop at 4 different walgreens and have never had anyone of them let me use more than i coupon wether theirs or an insert. When I complained about this they all said same thing against store policy. use thee coupon booklets or manufacture coupons but not both. So what state are you in that walgreens lets you use both??
I would call corporate and let them know about your experiences. You can also print a copy of the corporate coupon policy and take that with you (link above). I haven’t had problems using a Walgreens store coupon & a manufacturer coupon together at any of my Walgreens here in Joplin, Missouri.
I shop at Walgreens in Western Wisconsin and they also let me use the mfg. coupon as well as their WAGS coupon. I agree with Fritzie, take in a copy of their policy to show them and also call corporate. Good luck.
