This post may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

March 31, 2011 by Fritzie

I had a chance to run to Walgreens this evening to take advantage of the rare 15% Off Friends & Family Coupon (good today only 3/31) & thought I’d post my deals in case you haven’t had a chance to go yet and wanted a few ideas. And on a side note, while I was at Walgreens tonight, I ran into a couple people that read my blog. It always tickles me to pieces to run into people that actually read my blog and I want you to know you both made my day, thanks so much! ๐Ÿ™‚

(All prices are after Friends & Family Coupon)

  • 5 Packs of Walgreens Jumbo Diaper Packs $4.79 ea., Used $2.00/1 Walgreens coupon from the Infant Care Booklet. Note: While I don’t have a little one in diapers myself, this was such a great deal with the discount, coupon & rebate combined that I couldn’t pass it up and there are plenty of people out there I can give them to. Nothing rocks more than being able to share my freebies & bargain finds with others.

My local Walgreens tried to ring up 5 packages of the diapers and a box of the Walgreens pads but the rebate did not print out because the total was not $25 after the baby care coupons were subtracted. I had to buy 8 packages of diapers to get the rebate which ended up being a better deal. I spent around $27 including tax on 8 packages of diapers. Then ten dollars off that for the rebate. $17 for 8 packages of diapers. Needless to say I was very confused.

Well you have made many many of my days!! Like the day you posted about the 15 cent pasta sauce, and I sent my husband out with a 2 item list and 2 coupons..he came back estatic that he had only spent 30 cents! Or the day you told us about free pasta- that I happened to have 6 coupons for! Thank you thank you for sharing your knowledge and frugal skills with others! We truly appreciate you!

Lisa & Mary: Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll try to post my deals more often.

Stephanie: That would be confusing, the Walgreens coupons should not have counted. ๐Ÿ˜• Great deal on the diapers though, can’t hardly beat that!

Joni: ymmv is “your mileage may vary” meaning it will depend on the situation. The cashier may or may not elect to push the coupon through (but like I said, it is a mfg. coupon & it doesn’t say Redeemable “only” so it’s good anywhere coupons are accepted). One of the things I’ve learned about couponing is that there sure are a lot of variables. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Alma: Awww, thanks! That means so much to be me, ty ty ty! Keep in touch! ๐Ÿ˜€
