My Dillons Deals 8/12-Huge Savings!

So, I haven’t done a whole lot of shopping lately and I’ve been keeping it to pretty short trips. This 100-plus degree weather just hasn’t been very motivating for me. 😉 Anyway, I got in a short trip today, I plan to make a few more short trips to Dillons this week since there’s so many great deals this week. Here’s what I picked up today (note: all prices are after the Mega Event Sale wyb 8=$0.50 off each item):

  • Half Gallon Dillons 2% Milk $1.34
  • Head Lettuce $0.99
  • 27 Bumble Bee Albacore Tuna Pouches $0.49, Used 27 $0.55/1 blinkie coupons (doubled to $1.00)
  • 5 Kraft Cheese Chunks 16 oz., $2.79 ea., Used 2 $1.00/2 blinkie coupons and Got back $5.00 Catalina (catalina deal runs through 8/15)
  • 2 Beef Roasts BOGO $9.93 for both
  • Final Cost $11.72 and got back a $5.00 Catalina

    Hi Jodee,

    The Bumble Bee blinkie coupons were at Dillons a few months ago. I got a couple every time I shopped there and was able to accumulate a few that way (they disappeared pretty fast). I also traded for several a few months back. Trading coupons is a great way to add to your coupon stash, I need to write a post about that in the near future. 🙂

    I am kicking myself for using my blinkies a few weeks ago when Tuna was free. I would have loved to be able to make $4 on (8) packages this week!
