Closed! Silk Pure Almond All Natural Almondmilk Review & Giveaway

I got the opportunity to try out Silk Pure Almond Milk and I was not disappointed! I have to admit, I am not a big milk person, but I do like Silk’s products and I LOVE almonds. Almonds have a lot of great healthy benefits, so I was anxious to try this milk. I tried the Silk Pure Almond Vanilla and I really enjoyed it. It was rich and creamy with no aftertaste. I wondered if it would have a chalky taste, but it was as smooth as could be. For me, I would drink this as a special treat.
About Silk Pure Almond:
Each glass provides an excellent source of natural antioxidants, and as much calcium and vitamin D as dairy milk, with absolutely no cholesterol, saturated fat, dairy or soy. A serving of Silk Pure Almond Original almondmilk is only 60 calories & Vanilla is just 90 calories.
What makes almondmilk Silk Pure Almond so healthy? For starters, it’s the almonds. Almonds are recognized by health professionals as a nutritious addition to a healthy diet. A serving of almonds provides an excellent source of vitamin E (a natural antioxidant), and a good source of protein and fiber. In fact, almonds are higher in protein and fiber than any other tree nut. Plus, they’re naturally low in saturated fat and cholesterol-free. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant that has been studied for its role in supporting normal heart and brain function, as well as promoting a healthy complexion. Each serving of Silk Pure Almond provides 50% of the recommended daily value of this essential nutrient.

I find that my kids do better with reduced dairy so Almond Milk has been great. The calories compared to soy milk is amazing! I like to use the vanilla kind in steel cut oatmeal slowcooker overnight–yum!

Since I had gastric bypass surgery, regular milk does not settle well. I’ve thought about trying soy milk or a couple of different milks out there. If I win, this will be my chance to try another alternative.
thanks for the giveaway.

I’ve never tried Soymilk or Almond milk, but am curious about the taste. I don’t like cow’s milk, so a good alternative would be nice to have.
