Walgreens’ sales this week were pretty so-so in my opinion and what I did want, they didn’t have in stock. I had a couple Register Rewards that needed to be used this week, so I decided to just stock up on things I would normally buy anyway. One of the things I like about Walgreens is they regularly price items on sale that I frequently use and they often have the best prices around. One great example, I have a new Walgreens that opened late last fall and they have had eggs on sale ever since they opened for $.79 a Dozen. That is hands-down the best price in my entire area. I’ve been comparing prices and in the last week, eggs at Walmart were $1.28 and $1.49 at Aldi. So, thanks Walgreens!
Is it just me or have grocery prices seemed to be climbing lately? I especially noticed the price of eggs has really gone up! They were $1.49 for a dozen eggs at my Aldi and $1.28 at my Walmart. Thank goodness for coupons, whew! 😉
I got a tip from a reader about a deal at Price Cutter this week that warrants it’s own post. Price Cutter has Old Orchard Apple Juice 64 oz. on Sale for just $.99.
