My first trip to Walgreens this week was actually to my nearest Wags to try out the Almay Deal. At that store, the prices came up BOGO Half Off. I went to my other location, crossing my fingers that it was BOGO FREE. And indeed it was, what an awesome deal!

11/3 Trip Transaction #1

• 2 Mead Envelopes $.69 ea, Used Walgreens online Qs

• Blue Diamond Smokehouse Almonds BOGO @ $3.49, Used 2 $.50/1 Qs (these are SO good!)

• Robitussin To Go 2 pk. (no signs up about the RR, so plenty in stock) $2.49, Used $1.00/1 Q, Got Back $2.50 RR

• Hunts Tomato Sauce 8 oz. 3/$1.00, Used Walgreeens Q and Used $1.00/3 Q

• Almay Pure Blends Foundation $9.99, Got a $10 RR

• Almay Pure Blends Single Eye Shadow $7.49 (Came up FREE with Sale), Got a $5 RR

• Dial Foaming Hand Soap $1.99, Used $.50/1 Q and got back $1.00/1 RR

• Used $15.00 in previous RRs

• Final Cost $1.84 and got back $18.50 in Register Rewards

11/3 Trip Transaction #2

So, I went out to my car, put my bags up and checked my receipt. At that point, I realized the Almay Sale had taken off BOGO FREE instead of half off, so I went back inside.

• Almay Pure Blends Single Eye Shadow $7.49 (Came up FREE with Sale), Got a $5 RR

• 4 Almay One Coat Mascara $6.99 ea, Used $4.00/1 Q Walgreens November Booklet (took off $4.00 4x) (2 came up FREE with Sale)

• Used $6.00 in previous RRs

• Final Cost $2.12 and got back $15.00 in Register Rewards

11/6 Trip

Today, I made a classic mistake I thought would be good to point out. It is so easy to do, I know good & well not to do this, yet I still make this blunder on occasion. I just take it as lesson learned and move on.

• Herbal Essences Shampoo & Hairspray, Used FREE Shampoo Q, and Used Free Styling product wyb Shampoo Q, Got Back $2.00 RR

• Pantene 2 trial size shampoos $1.19 ea, Used $1.00/2 Q (Ok, here’s where I made my mistake, I know this rule so well, but it just never even occurred to me the goof I was making, I guess I was too focused on Almay LOL-Anyway, my mistake was that I had already gotten a Register Reward for the Herbal Essence Deal above, so it didn’t print a Register Reward beings it was the same deal. While you can get more than one RR in a single transaction, you can’t get 2 RRs for the same deal. If I had done this in a separate transaction, I would have gotten back a $2.00 RR)

• Used $21.50 in previous RRs

• Final Cost $.83 and got back $19.50 in Register Rewards
