I was given the chance to try out Softlips Holiday Limited Edition Lip Conditioner Balms. There are 4 winter flavors, 2 brand new:

  • New in 2009! Sugar & Spice
  • New in 2009! Sugar Plum Berry
  • Winter Mint
  • Sugar Cookie

These are priced at around $2.99-$3.99 for the dual-stick pack. Perfect as a stocking stuffer or gift to yourself (and the price is right!), the seasonal flavors help protect lips from the sun with SPF20 and have the same great moisturizing properties as Softlips’ other popular flavors. Now through out the holiday/winter season, the limited addition flavors Sugar & Spice and Sugar Plum Berry will be available in Target and Winter Mint and Sugar Cookie will be available at Walgreens (two of my favorite stores as my regular readers will know ;) ). I’m pretty picky about my lip balms, I use them all the time. I hadn’t tried Softlips before and I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the way it moisturized and it lasted a long time, longer than the lip balm I had currently been using. I really like the Holiday flavors and what I really liked about them is that the scents aren’t in your face. To me there’s nothing more nauseating than some overly gooey, sickly heavily-scented lip balm. Like I really want to go around smelling my lips all day Lol. These all had a nice light scent, not overpowering at all. I liked them all, but my favorites were a toss-up between the new Sugar Plum and the Winter Mint.
