Korres USA Comes Through!
So, remember the Korres deal a few weeks ago? No? I’ll recap! They had this awesome promotion that if you purchased ANY item, not only would shipping be free, but you would get 3 small samples and a $30 deluxe sample. This deal had a huge WOW factor, tons of people ordered with anticipation of getting a great freebie.
Well, it turns out, that Korres USA had made a mistake, the promotion was supposed to be free shipping and the deluxe sample with a purchase over $25. Oops! They corrected the mistake on their website and then proceeded to cancel everybody’s order that had been previously processed before the mistake was caught and fixed. Oops! That was another big Oops because it caused a lot of angry comments on blogs and tons of complaints to their company via email and phone calls.
As a result, they did something few companies would do, they sent out the following email:

A rare mistake by an otherwise seamless organisation. I’ve been using their products in Europe for years, I’m only surprised it took them so long to establish themselves over in the US.
